It must of been hard to give up that condo
Yes that is right, I cooked dinner for Katie lastnight before the break up. No, no not our breakup, the movie of course. Yesterday was my last day off before heading back to work so I had a productive yet lazy day at home. I took care of all the out and about stuff early so I could enjoy the day with a book.
I walked Bosco, got some groceries, went to the bank and even hit the gym before heading home for the afternoon. It is amazing how fast you can get a bunch of erands done when you have a car!
For the remainder of the afternoon I fixed our wireless issues (we can surf in the backyard now) watched a Deadwood and read my book out back for a bit. I am currently reading Deception Point by Dan Brown. I am also reading Jpod by Douglas Coupland but I took a break. So all in all it was a great afternoon.
Once Katie was home from work we hung out in the backyard with some drinks and then I went in to make some dinner. The menu was homemade turkey burgers, sweet potato and some spinach salad. The burgers went a little something like this.
1 egg whisked in a bowl, adding 1/3 cup of chopped onion, 1/2 cup of oats, 1/3 cup of chopped spinach, a table spoon of whorchester sauce and the ground turkey. Mix it all up with your hands and form four patties. Throw them on the bbq, six minutes and side of medium heat and bam.
The potato was pretty easy as well. Microwave a sweet potato for six minutes, slice it half and put butter, sour cream and cheese on each half.
It was a very tasty and quick meal for sure.
After dinner while I put stuff away and cleaned the kitchen Katie caught up on some internet stuff (on her faster connection) and then we met up in the living room to watch the Break up. I thought it was pretty good and pretty realistic. It was not like the promos made it out to be that is for sure. I recommend checking it out.
I am off to work in a second so have a great day and keep those comments coming.
