Good afternoon one and all, this blog entry is on location, live from the backyard on this long weekend. A few beers and a good book are all that is on the menu so far today.
Katie and I went for a nice brunch at the Ardmore Tea Room and we have been reading and hanging out in the backyard since. Katie just went inside but there is still some juice left in the lap top so I figure I will make an entry before I head inside.
Last night after a tasty dinner of bbq’s hot dog wraps and corn on the cob, we watched Steven Speiburg’s Munich. Well it was night two of watching it as we both dozed off on Friday night watching it. I liked it and it certainly made you aware of how testy things are in other parts of the world. It is a hard movie to watch when you are tired but I am glad I saw it.
Not too much going on today, as I said we had brunch out and I have a recipe for tonight to make. I am sure we will watch another movie or jump into some shows I have downloaded. We have two seasons of Rescue Me to watch and another one by Stepen Colbert to check out that we have been told is good. I forget the name, some to due with candy.
I am reading a very good book right now (three on the go). It is by Chuck Klosterman and is called A Decade of Curious People and Dangerous Ideas and is typical Chuck for those of you who have read his work. I know that everyone I know enjoyed Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs.
In other news, my parents are still at the campground doing their hosting thing and loving it. I guess my sister went up for a few days to visit so that must of been fun.
Next weekend Katie and I are headed to Ottawa to go to a wedding. Two of her long time friends are getting hitched so it will be a lot of fun and a much need holiday.
Okay I think I am going to put a stamp on this entry and mail it in, I
