Good Monday morning everyone, okay I know it is not Monday but how many people out there feel like it is? After the labour day weekend it is always hard to get your self straight with the days of the week. All the kids going back to school today are counting the days til it is the weekend again. Those four days always seemed so long.

Halifax certainly feels busier all of a sudden with the injection of all the students. Monday there were numerous packs of them walking around doing various Frosh activities. Yesterday after a tasty breakfast we decided since it was raining the big plan would to be go out and rent a movie. It was slim pickings at the store so we ended up renting Prozac Nation staring Christina Ricci. It was an okay flick, it had school ties to it so it certainly fit the theme of the week in the city.

After that, Paul one of the students Katie knows through her previous job came over for dinner and a pet tutorial. He is watching the Farm this weekend while we are in Ottawa. We went for a test drive with the Bosco and all was good. We had a quick BBQ meal and then he had to catch a bus.

After that I had my big NFL draft online with my department at work. I really only knew four or five of my picks but it was fun and there is no cash involved. We shall see how I do.

Around 8:30 we then headed downtown to the Henry House for a birthday drink for one of Katie’s friends. We just stopped in for one drink and to chat it up for an hour or so. It was nice to be back there and I know my parents miss the place haha.

Wow for a day where we did not seem to get a lot done, this made for a long blog entry. You all probably have work to get back to so I better sign off for now.
