Good morning, it is a bright and sunny day here in Halifax. Nothing like some early Sunday morning blogging as the rest of the house still sleeps. I am sure Katie can hear the clicking of the keyboard but I don’t imagine that will be enough to awaken her fully. Haha a lawn mower just fired up outside, that might do it.

So yesterday was a pretty busy day at work with college football in full swing. The good news is that it makes the day fly by. The bad news is I feel pretty brain dead today so bear with me here. On my lunch break yesterday I drove over to the Atlantic Superstore to get some lunch. Man was that a bad idea. I think everyone in Halifax was there and it made for an annoying adventure into the world of stupid people. Mind you I am sure these people are not stupid but they were in the few seconds I interacted with them.

I went to the hot foods to go section for some pizza, they did not have any, I had to wage war against traffic to get over to the water aisle for a bottle, then do the same back to try and decide what I wanted. Okay I will get some chicken wings and wedges. I of course got a very unfriendly worker who acted like I asked for a her to do a dance while she got my food. The parking lot, jeeez I find it to be the most annoying place in the world where three out of four people act like it is their first time in one. Finally I get back to work, frustrated, hungry and just glad to be back at work haha. By the way the wings were luke work and the wedges were leathery.

Once I got home we just hung out and watched some more Rescue Me. Then a much needed big sleep!

Today I am off since I start work tonight so I think the plan is to go for a drive somewhere and check out some fall changes. I know Bosco will like to go so we will see if we can work him into the plan. First up there is going to be a pancake breakfast! Katie and I both thought of it at different times last night so I think it is a good idea to go with it. Disgusting when couples think alike isn’t it!
