Even the Halifax Regional Police horse will have his hearing protected when the Rolling Stones come to town. Duty Sergeant will be sporting a massive pair of earplugs as he patrols the periphery of Saturday’s concert on the Halifax Commons.

The acoustics won’t be quite as good, but the seats will be cheaper, potty lineups shorter and there will be more room to groove. Private parties are popping up all around the Halifax Common for the Rolling Stones concert Saturday.
