Good morning everyone, it is a quiet Sunday early in Halifax and I am just about to head to work. I thought I would get started on my entry today as it is a big one. I took the day off from the blog yesterday and of course there is now a lot of news to get caught up on. So this may take a few posts or at least a few edits to get it all in so be patient. Few of you are up and reading this anyways.

Let us go back to Friday night since you do not want to miss out on anything that goes on over here on Kline. It was your typical Friday evening, Katie got home from work and went right into her Friday night chill fest. We cooked up some pasta for dinner and watched the season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy (yes the correct one CTV) .

Okay back to this after going to work and getting the day started. So I was talking about Friday night I believe. So after dinner we put on the Da Vinci Code and I think we both fell asleep a few times. I may watch it again but I found it very boring and it followed the book pretty close. So you always knew what was coming. Katie who has not read the book said she felt lost and was not sure what was going on. Tom Hanks also sounded like John Cusack and that bugged me.

I also noticed when doing the dishes we were losing hot water. Never really thought about it but I will now jump to Saturday morning.

So I got up and turned the water on and there was no hot stuff! The day before we had a guy over to clean the furnace and another guy to upgrade the water meter. After calling our landlord and having her investigate, turns out the water guy turned off our hot water! Thanks buddy.

The plan for the day was to go on an adventure in the car. We had chosen Annapolis Royal, which is a small historic town about 2 hours NW. We had some eggs and bacon and started to get ready to go. The water was working now so while Katie showered and got ready I took Bosco for a walk down to the Common to check out the Stones scene. You can check out the pictures here, sorry for going back to MSN but flickr limits your uploading per month unless you pay for the full membership. It was pretty quiet when I went down, a lot of people milling about with cameras but nothing too exciting.

When I got back we finished getting ready and off in the car we went. It was a nice drive, my first chance to open it up on the highway and the ride is very smooth. I could certainly do long drives in that car. We stopped for gas and made it by 130pm. The town was small and very quiet. It is full of history and a lot of nice sites to see. Sadly the rain came so we had to stop for a bite at Leo’s cafe and then we did a few more things before the rain made us call it a trip.

Here are the pictures from this adventure. A very cool place to visit for sure.On the way home it rained and rained and Katie had a nap so I just drove and entertained myself with the music. A solid five hours of driving for me and it was pretty easy. A good build up for longer trips to lets say Toronto or Boston.

On the way home we stopped for some ingredients to make nachos and some alcohal! What is a Saturday night without a beer or two. Once home we watched the news to see all the Stones action downtown and then Katie whipped up some awesome nachos and home made gaucamolleeeee.

After dinner we realized just how loud the concert was. I stood in the backyard and listened to a few songs and you could hear the Stones so clear. It sucked that it was raining or I would of sat out there the whole time. So yes I can now say I have heard the Rolling Stones live.

A few episodes of Rescue Me and it was time to call it a night. Wow what a busy day for us, so sorry that I probably missed some stuff.

Okay have to get back to work for now, Europe is about to win the Ryder Cup.
