Well today is the day. On this morning one year ago today I was on a plane with Bosco making the trek to Halifax from Toronto. My belongings in a truck somewhere in Canada and my mind somewhere God knows where. It seems so long ago that I moved here to live with Katie and when I say that I mean a long and wonderful time.

This weekend we have been celebrating not only my move but of course the moving in with each other for the first time. So far so good I would have to say and we are both looking forward to year two that is for sure.

There has been a lot of growiing as people and as a couple and with the stuff we keep bringing into the house! This year we have added a bbq, patio furnture and of course a new car to the mix just to name a few things. I did not think mentioning a bread box really fit in with those major purchases but we got one of those too!

Lat night I made Katie dinner and and we watched a movie and had our first fire of the season. It was a nice and cozy night on Kline street. We watched the Notorious Betty Page, it was pretty good although since it was a documentary there was not really a story to follow. It was interesting to see a different and less prominent person put in the spotlight and to get an idea of how things were back then. Hard to imagine what the men of that time period would think of the Internet and what freaky stuff is out there to see.Today the weekend celebration continues. Katie had to go into work for a bit but the plan today is to go out for dinner and drinks tonight. That will be fun! This afternoon I am also going to move some stuff around in the living room as we have finally figured out a new way to arrange things. I am sure I will post pictures after it is all done.

Yesterday we also booked a little Thanksgiving weekend getaway in PEI so we are very excited about that. A two-bedroom cottage on the beach near Confederation Bridge and they allow Bosco’s! I can’t think of a better way to spend a holiday weekend, I just hope we can find someone to cook up a big turkey dinner!

I can’t really think of too much more to mention today but I bet I will later on. It is a sunny day today, just like it was a year ago when I pulled up in the limo with Bosco. It was an exciting time, new house, new living arrangements, new city! The coolest part is that I know the most exciting times are still ahead.
