Well the time has come, in just over eight hours the road trip to PEI is going to begin. I do not know if Anne of Green Gables will be around but I suggest she put on the kettle.

The car will be packed up with some clothes, food and a big ol’ chocolate dog. The route is mapped out and the tank is full.

We are very excited to finally go on a real road trip! It will be nice to unplug and get away from T.V. and the daily grind for a few days. The weather forecast looks good for this time of year and I am sure the fine folks of Maggie’s cottage will make the weekend great.

We will talk to you all on Monday and I just know there will be a lot to tell and a lot of pictures to show.
