I know I know I will not get too much sympathy for this but it is back to work today. It has been a stretch of days off but it is always sad however long it is when the time ends. It is kind of warm and wet out today in Halifax. The rain has been pretty steady for over 24 hours now so who knows what will happen later today.

I am working for the next five days and then off again for five days. Should not be too bad. Katie is just excited to get a lot of time to herself this weekend for sleeping in without being bugged haha.

Last night was nothing to exciting, the usual dinner and tv watching. We did the usual Thursday night tour of Survivor and CSI. K-Fed was on CSI and was quite the actor, playing pretty much himself. I am sure they did not want to over work him. Brittany must be so proud of her man bringing in a paycheque.

I am trying to catch up on my books and finish off a few that have been dragging on since midsummer. I read over 100 pages of Deception Point yesterday and hope to finish it today on my lunch or tomorrow at the latest. Then I have to finish off Chuck Klosterman’s book before I dig into the one I have been waiting to read for months. That would be the next Terry Goodkind book that has been staring me in the face on my night stand ever since I bought it.

Well I should wrap this up and pack up and head off to work.  Have a great Friday everyone, for most of you it is the end of a long week so you should enjoy it.
