Good Sunday morning one and all, it is that time of day again when blog meets brain.

Yesterday was a pretty laid back Saturday but at the same time very fun. We went out to get some groceries and I got a hair cut as well. The reason for the grocery run was I just put on today’s crock pot recipe. An Easy swiss steak it is called.  You see we bough a club pack of steak some weeks ago and we figured it was time to use it up. So the crock pot seems like the best way.

All you have to do is lay baby carrots on the bottom, put the steak on top of that then pour some tomato sauce, water and some onion soup mix over it and crock it for 8-10 hours. We are going to have some mashed potatoes with as well. Stop by around 7pm if you are hungry!

Last night we went out with friends for dinner. The origional plan was Greek food but the place was booked so we went to Soho downtown. It was a lot of fun and a cool place. They had all this origional art everywhere and these wooden carved pigs! They were kind of creepy to be honest. Some of the highlights were, me setting my menu on fire and the very tasty desserts.

I had a giant steak that was very juicy and filling with some side carrots and other veggies. Of course it had to be washed down with a few beers. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well and Katie brought home some of hers for another time.

We all came back to the house and just hung out for awhile talking and then it was time to call it a day. Can’t really write much longer we are headed out for brunch soon so I have to get ready. Will write more later on today.
