My dad is turning one year older today and I just wanted to pass along birthday wishes blog style. I went to the store last week to look for a card and I have come to the conclusion that they do not write cards for grown up sons to give to their fathers. They all sound like things we would never say to each other or they just seem stupid. So I left that idea and instead went this route.
Dad, I hope you have a relaxing day in the big town of Corunna and that there is a Tim Hortons run somewhere in the day. Maybe you guys will go out for dinner? Anyways it would be nice to be there and party it up like it was 1999 on this big day. Only five more weeks until I get to see you and everyone else so that is something exciting to look forward to for sure.
So I hope you forgive the empty mail box down on Hill Street today and enjoy this new age birthday wish. What an amazing thing, this Internet eh. I was trying to get Celine Dion to sing you a special birthday song but she is way to stuck up to do something like that. I mean she only makes 4.5 mill per hour, a girl has to eat!
Have a great birthday and many more to come!

I won’t go into how old Dad is turning because that is not cool. I am sure you can figure it out if you really want to. From the reports from home Dad is doing very well with his diet and exercising and is just great after the crazy year last year. I am sure the big trip out to Halifax was one of the highlights of 2006 and I know he misses the seafood and the Henry House. Katie and I think about him most times going through the Armdale Rotary or roundabout here in town.
In other news…….
Katie had a second day of driving on Sunday and once again did very well. This time we cruised around in the city focusing on turns and getting a feel of other drivers on the road. I think she is coming along great and the big key is just getting miss Rock in the car as much as possible.
Kevin went to a Bruins game on Saturday and had a great time. They are loving their new life in Beantown. Kevin has also started a blog to help fill some of his down time while looking for work. It is still in the beginning stages but the potential is high for this blog. It is called Lord of the Fries and it will follow Kevin’s journey into everything to do with french fries. Check it out.
I am currently at work taking a break from the sports betting world.
That is all I can think of at the moment so once again Happy Birthday Dad, hope its a great one!!
