I do not want to jump to conclusions but break up the Raps! Two days and two wins later the not so purple dino’s are flirting with first place in the Atlantis divsion. Last night it was the New York Knicks turn to eat a giant can of whoop ass courtesy of the Eur-aptors. Bosh was a beast as usual with 26 points and 13 rebounds but this night belonged to the little engine as Swirsk refers to him. Yes T.J. Ford put on a show for the deviants at MSG as he scored 20 points and dished out 10 dimes.
The Barg was not even concerned about the lowly Knicks as his number one goal was to find some good eats just like back in the old country. Toronto’s No. 1 overall draft pick, said he ate at an Italian restaurant in June when he was in New York for the NBA draft. And how did the food compare to the cuisine back home? “It was OK,” Bargnani said.
I was able to see glimpses of the game due to being at work but from what I saw the Raptors fought off all moments of blowing it and showed some much needed onions. Forget what people are saying, if you can look beyond the grease of Garbo’s hair you will see this team starting to gel. Everyone is fitting in and finding their role on the team and Sam is actually getting some of that coaching stuff right. I would guess that someone gave him NBA 2K7 as an early Christmas present and he has been playing the coaching option. Hard to really say if he uses the Raptors as his team but who cares, whatever works.
As it stands the Raps are in second place in the division just behind Vince Cryer and the Nets. Keep this in mind, it does not matter if they only win 29 games all year, if they come first in their shit division, they get in the playoffs. Add to the fact that the east is weak all over so there is nothing stopping a weakling pulling off a few upsets.

This week we have two of the better teams (rolling eyes) in the Eastern Conference on the road. On Wednesday the LeBron lead Cavs roll out the welcome matt and on Friday the Raps hit the Windy City for some deep dish pizza. Barg could use some heavy carbs that is for sure. I hope the Bulls are still bickering over headbands when the Raps roll in and maybe we can steal a huge win from those girly bulls.
This is an exciting time to be a Raptors fan I have to say. The games are as competative as last year but now there is hope that they don’t blow them and there is no chance of having to watch Mike James jack up 400 three pointers and try to be the next Kobe. The Barg is showing signs of stardom, the other newcomers are fitting in great and if they can get Mo Pete rockin again this team has a shot to do some damage. Although doing damage in the east is about as significant as doing damage to K-Fed’s careers. Oh snap, yep I had to get him in this post didn’t I.
Okay I am going to go now but let it be known that until Wednesday night comes, technically the Raps are one of few teams on a winning streak in the NBA. BRILLIANT!
I feel bad about slagging Federline, so please judge for yourself before you agree with me.
