So I am sure by now most of you in Canada have seen the new McDonald’s ad that makes all east coasters look like friggen idiots. I am not from the east coast but I do live in Halifax and I have to say its a pretty bad stereo type despite what people think of the Capers. I know a few peeps from Cape Breton and even though the accent is apparent they certainly don’t say things like corn-a-copia of awesomenesss.

I did some digging around and you can check out the opinion of someone from the Cape here. He also feels that commercial is a little ridiculous and only furthers the whole feeling of the rest of the province/country looking down at them.

” Now this commercial is being aired NATIONALLY! I had friends in Ontario call to wish me a “corn-a-copia of happiness” over the holidays.”

I only wish I could find this gem of advertising so I can pass it along to those who have not seen it. If anyone has seen it, or has the ability to post it on Youtube I hope you let me know.
