Raps go to the swamp

Tonight is the big first place showdown I bet nobody expected when the season started. Yes the first-place Raptors head to the swamp to take on Vince and the New Jersey Nets. Granted the Atlantic division is poop but first is still first and the Raps are 1/2 a game up on the low life Nets. If it was not for Jason Kidd I do not even think this would be much of a game.

The fans and media have soured on Air Carter and they are now seeing what us Dino fans learned long ago. Vince is a talent beyond many in the league but his desire to win and do it every night is less than great. I have even read a lot of trade rumoirs sending him out to play for the Clippers. A perfect fit I think for the guy who used to be half man, half amazing. He can then live it up in the sun and never have the pressure of having to win or try for that matter.

Okay back to my boys from the TDot. The Raps are coming off a big win on Sunday over the toasty hot Wizardsa and for the first time in over a month they had the full team going. Bosh went out and Ford got better, Bosh came back and got better. This is shaping up to be a strong duo that is cleary the future of this team. Add in the Larry Bird passes and ever growing skills of Andrea Bargnani and the future looks very bright.

I won’t be albe to watch tonight with the thundersticks but I am predicting a big road win and Bosh having another huge double-double. Who knows, maybe it is the last time we see Vince in a Nets jersey.
