Tonight in the NBA there is a huge matchup that may not be important in the league but it is important among friends. My Raptors roll into Beantown to take on Kev’s Celtics. I was hoping to be at this game but since I cannot I might as well do a blog post about it. Here is how we see it shaping up.

Cuzzy says: The Raps are gonna whoop the men in green seeing as half their team is injured. No Pierce? Haha no shot for Boston. Unless Bird and Mchale come crawling out of the stands I only see this game being close because that is how the Raptors roll. They do not know how to blow someone out so it will be tight until about nine minutes left in the fourth. Bosh and Ford will run circles around the Celts.

Kev’s care factor: He will probably watch reruns of Battle Star Galactica before checking out this game.

Prediction: Raptors win 105-96

Interesting stat: The Raptors have won three of their last four games overall, but have dropped seven in a row at Boston since Nov. 29, 2002.

Kev says: The injury depleted Celts are going to be looking at Sebastian Telfair and Al Jefferson to step up their offensive production.  Doc Rivers was quoted as saying that he finds basketball in general very offensive.  I tend to agree.   But if there is one team that could mess up a chance at an easy win, it would be the Raptors…at least that’s what the internet tells me when I google ‘basketball, why does it suck so bad’

Prediction: the underdog Celts to win by a score of I don’t care to I don’t care.
