So last night I watched pretty well the entire awards show for the first time in years. Now I did not watch it closely, it was on in the back ground but I watched it well enough to know this. None of my picks did very well. A few coworkers and myself made picks to make the show a little more entertaining and out of 20 possible picks I only got five right. I really have to pick with my gut because most of the winners were ones I kind of felt would win when I first looked at the sheet. But we all say that so I will no dwell.

I was very happy that Alec Baldwin won for 30 Rock even though it meant Steve Carell of The Office had to lose. The speeches were pretty good, Meryl Streep of all people had a good one. Borat of course got the laughs and JT had a cute moment when Prince was nowhere to be found for his award. I still don’t get how Ugly Betty and Dreamgirls won as much as they did but then again I also scored five out of 20.

So now we move on to the Oscars in a few months. I am sure most of the same people will win, how exciting. Kev did have one question that I never got to answer. Were there lots of hotties? Well of course there were when all of hollywood is all glammed up. Here is one example Kev…..talk about a hero of a dress…eh eh….
