This one is for all the locals and of course my parents who will always remember the Armdale Rotary from their visit.

The daily commute for more than 55,000 drivers could get a little longer this summer when substantial changes are made to the Armdale Rotary.
More than $1 million in improvements are in store for the circular intersection that links Halifax peninsula to the surrounding bedroom communities.
However, doing the engineering work for the design and upgrades will be difficult, said the city’s manager of regional transportation.
“That’s going to be a tricky part,” Dave McCusker said this week.
“It’s going to be difficult because it does involve some changes right in the circle and it’s hard to bypass that area.”
The work will at long last change the rotary into a real roundabout, Coun. Linda Mosher (Purcells Cove-Armdale) said.
“It’s not a roundabout yet; only half of it is done,” she said.
