I have introduced a new feature on Cuzoogle. It is called The seven and basically it is a list of whatever I want it to be. Simple but entertaining I think. I invite you all to submit your seven on whatever theme you want. I welcome your input and creative genius. To see all the previous seven posts just click here or on The seven under categories.

Today’s list is reasons why I think the Toronto Raptors will make the playoffs this season.
- Depth: Toronto thanks to some great signings and off season trades have become one of the deepest teams in the league. Bosh, Ford and Mo Pete have missed time and the bench guys fill in without skipping a beat. It is a good sign when a player like Fred Jones is your tenth man.
- No more drama: There is no longer a soap opera feeling in Raptor land. No more cry babies or guys bitching that they don’t get enough shots. All the bad karma has been washed out and replaced by team guys who actually like each other. The bigggest drama this year is on the court where it should be.
- Youth: The Raps big stars are all not old enough to remember who the hell Kirk Cameron is. It will be like the Fab Five of Michigan when they get in the playoffs. No fear and shock the world. Bargnani is particular is a stone cold killer when shooting and I predict he has many historic buzzer beaters in his holster.
- Colangelo factor: Who are we kidding this guy pulls the strings like no other puppet master. How can a guy come in and turn an entire franchise around in one year! So when the stretch drive hits look for Cojo to get whatever the team needs to win. I will be sad when Mo Pete gets moved but I know his sacrifice will make the team better.
- Big Bosh man: This kid has arrived in the NBA as a real star. His stats go up every year along with his leadership. I love the fact that he follows the Joe Dumars school of leading. Just go out and do it every night and the rest will follow. Bosh is a player that needs to be in the playoffs so his status will sky rocket.
- ACC love: Toronto is a great home team and now that they have gotten most of their road trips out of the way this year, they are set to clean up at home. They almost beat Phoenix and Dallas at home and I can see them having one of the best records at the end of the year on the home court. Not to mention those 1pm games that have the visitors hung over and stupid from a night out on the town.
- Thundersticks: Okay I may be lame for saying this but the thundersticks that I got for Christmas have some magic in them. I am saving them for the playoffs and I just know they will push my Raps over the hump. Call me crazy but maybe there is a New York Knick like run of a few years ago when they went from #8 all the way to the Finals. If that happens I will be in Toronto begging for tickets of any kind.

Bush and the Republicans were not protecting us on 9-11, and we aren’t a lot safer now. We may be more afraid due to george bush, but are we safer? Being fearful does not necessarily make one safer. Fear can cause people to hide and cower. What do you think? What is he doing to us, and what is he doing to the world?
What happened to us, people? When did we become such lemmings?
The more people that the government puts in jails, the safer we are told to think we are. The real terrorists are wherever they are, but they aren’t living in a country with bars on the windows. We are.
