As I sit here at work with four TV’s all on various sports channels I have come to the realization that I really do not like the Super Bowl. Thought I would share a list of reasons why.

  • It is football
  • I do not think it is that Super
  • The two week break is lame
  • It cuts into my Law and Order time
  • None of the players have special powers
  • We do not get to see the good commercials in Canada
  • I have no real interest in either the Bears or Colts
  • the over hype of a game then ususally ends up being bad
  • Prince at halftime? Seriously?
  • The crazy people who do anything to get tickets
  • Why can’t in be on Saturday?
  • Hard to get up for a game where one coach is named Lovie
  • I will most likey eat like crap during the game
  • Hearing opinions from every ex-player on who will win
  • All the reporters living it up in the sun
  • No good shows on TV if you are not into the game
  • It is not March Madness
  • The game seems to upset my dog
  • Couch sores
  • The chance that they will play the Bears Super Bowl shuffle from 85
  • Game breakdowns
  • Global promos for shows I wouldl rather be watching
  • I am sure the game affects Global Warming in some way
  • The crappy feed we get in Canada, no crisp picture for us
  • News breaks and updates from ET Canada
  • Media day should be more off the cuff, let the players say what they want
  • Being able to watch the game on your cell, who would do that?
  • Longer waits for pizza delivery
  • I think the game actually makes my living room colder
  • Peyton Manning is everywhere

Reasons I like the Super Bowl

  •  At the end of the game it is the longest length of time until the next one
