Cuzzy status check

Hi there everyone, it has been awhile since I checked in and since the site is down at work for some upgrades I have some time. So what is new with me? Sadly not too much haha. I am finally getting over a head cold that I have had for a few days and it is perfect timing since my days off start in about three hours.

Today I plan to nap and catch up on all the TV shows I have missed since Thursday. Sounds like a good way to spend a cold Tuesday eh? The weather has warmed up a bit in the last week and there has been some snow as well. It was quite the deep freeze there for awhile and I see on the news that most of Canada is still in it.

Tonight Katie and I are going to try and find a movie that is worth seeing and maybe have some dinner out as well. That reminds me I better go check on what is playing.

Here are the flicks I would not mind seeing

Blood Diamond, Children of Men, Pan’s Labyrinth and maybe Smokin Aces. I am going to guess that Blood Diamond will be the winner and that is okay with me because that means two hours of looking at this.

Happy Valentine’s day to this guy (pointing at myself). Speaking of the day of love, I got a card in the mail from my Mum. An annual tradition that is nice. Of course I think my mother got more out of it to send the card with the picture in it that she did. I may or may not share that one with all of you.

The rest of the week will be the usual catching up on stuff and taking care of business. I should get my taxes done and maybe work on the puzzle that you all must be wondering about. Wednesday night is the big Raptors-Nets game and I have my beer chilling for game time. Can’t wait to see my Raps put the boots to that cry baby Vince. Lets hope this is the game that makes the New Jersey brass call off the year and bust up the team. Oh and Jackson if you are reading this and I know you do, I am happy to be on the list, whatever it means.

Random thoughts

• Who is Sportsnet trying to fool. They are all dressing hip and cool, throwing around buzz words and big TVs but you know what, it is still the same crappy sports it was before. TSN will always be number one, deal with it.
• Did anyone catch MJB’s thank you speech at the Grammy Awards? I think I even got a thanks there were so many people in it.
• You heard it here, Duke is not going to make the Big Dance this year, yep cancel Christmas .
• I am having some annoying static with my computer sound. It is slowly driving me insane.
• Hope to work on the fish tank this week, talk about stuff you all really care about.

Well that is all I can think about for now, I bid you farewell until we blog again. May you not have be friends with the fisherman and please don’t shut your cat in the attic, that makes for some loud noise.
