Here’s the thing:

Something bad is going to happen at this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend.  Maybe not at a bar.  Maybe not at the game.  We might not even find out about it until later on.  But eventually, something bad will go on.
Why? Because the game itself will be bad and the players know this.  They know that without many of the top point guards, the likelyhood of alley-oops, fast breaks, and back door passes diminishes greatly.  Thus, why try?
Or, why not try to have fun?

Unfortunately for David Stern, NBA fun is usually a bad thing.  It will involve, girls, or punches, or booze or money.  Bet on this.

Some team is going to suffer because of this recipe: NBA Star + Booze + bad luck on a black jack table.  Memhet Okur is a good darkhorse here due to the lack of anything in Utah and the overkill in Vegas.
Some player could hook up with the wrong girl.  No wait, some player will hook up with the wrong girl.  The wrong girls are as follows: an undercover, a hooker with Hepatitis Jumpshot, somebody’s cousin, somebody’s wife, somebody’s girl he’s been eyeing all night when he should have been counting aces…you get the picture.

Let’s just hope that no one gets hurt.  Though, if someone is going to get hurt playing black jack, it’ll be Vince Carter.
