Did you Valentine’s day include a Harp? Mine did. Let me catch you up on the day that was. I won’t bore you with the usual goings on of a day off for me but let me jump ahead to 5pm.

There was a knock at the door and usually I don’t even answer because it usually is just people selling stuff. This time though Katie had prewarned me that there may be someone knocking today. So I answered it and it was a delivery guy. I got some flowers sent to me! From who I wondered?? A secret admirerer? Okay I did not wonder, it was pretty clear who they were from. Thanks Katie, they look nice in the kitchen.

Once Katie got home I put my Vday plan into effect. I decided a nice treat would be to cook up a dinner we had not had in a long time. So the plan was to grill up some steak. They had been marinating all day long and I was going to throw caution to the wind and BBQ. Of course around 5pm the snow and wind came and made it a little less fun going out to the back yard. But I did it! Two perfectly grilled steaks coming up. To go along with it, we had some mashed sweet potatoes and steamed carrots. Everything turned out perfect. Can I just add that when you look at the picture of the two plates of food, the one on the top was Katie’s steak and she ate the whole thing. Impressive.

After a fine meal like that, there was only one thing that seemed clear to do next. Watch the Raptors game of course! They were playing Vince and the Nets and I had been looking foward to this for weeks. Vince got booed, he seemed not interested in trying and had somewhat of a poor game. If it was not for the Nets’ crazy three point shooting this game would not of been close. You could see on the faces of the Raps that this game meant something. So they go into the All-Star break on a high and with a 4 1/2 game lead in the division. Who would of guessed that??

Oh forgot to mention the yummy halftime dessert we had. Ice cream, raspberries and chocolate sauce

So that was Valentine’s day on Kline.

You ask where was the Harp? Well I had four cans of it while watching the game! I was playing the Harp like a seasoned professional.

The weather today is very windy and slushy. All the snow we had last night has been washed away with rain and it is just nasty out there. I imagine my day will be spent inside although I have a few things I want to take care of today. Caught up on 24 and Heroes yesterday. The story lines are pretty good this year on 24 and Heroes is always good. Who knew James Cromwell could be so evil?

I changed up the look on the blog yesterday as well, what do you think? Any comments would be very helpful.

Have a good day one and all.
