LAS VEGAS –Andrea Bargnani can play in front of his home fans. So can Pau Gasol - if he’s not traded first.

Toronto and Memphis were two of the four teams chosen Saturday to participate in the NBA Europe Live in October.

Boston and Minnesota will also head overseas for training camp and exhibition games against Euroleague opponents in the second year of the tour.

The Raptors were a natural selection because of their large number of international players. Bargnani, the No. 1 pick in last year’s draft, is from Italy. Jose Calderon and Jorge Garbajosa are from Spain.

Toronto will train from Oct. 1-5 in Treviso, Italy before heading to Rome for games against the Celtics and Lottomatica Roma. The Raptors then travel to Spain for a game against Real Madrid on Oct. 11.

Gasol is also from Spain, and the Grizzlies will play in both Malaga and Madrid. However, Memphis might be making the trip without Gasol, who has asked to be traded. The Grizzlies have been trying to make a deal.

Minnesota will train in Istanbul, play an exhibition against a pro team there in the NBA’s first game in Turkey, and then head to London for a game against the Celtics.

The NBA sent Phoenix, Philadelphia, San Antonio and the Los Angeles Clippers to Europe this season in its first tour. The Suns and Clippers got off to slow starts during the regular season, but said injuries were more of a problem than the travel.
