What a night, what a night. Watching the NBA All-Star skillz competition has been an annual event for me and last night may of been one of the most boring ever. Case in point, I never saw the dunk off because I fell asleep. Maybe it is my age, maybe it was the twelve hour shift I had just worked but the whole night was kind of a yawn.

Last year was not that exciting until Nate jumped over someone and that got me off the couch. Last night, ho hum, another dunk challenge with no hops.

In case you did not know, Gerald Green won with a perfect score when he jumped over a desk. Impressive but not earth shattering. The three point shooting contest sucked because Gilbert and Dirk stunk it up in the final leaving Jason Kapono as the champ.

The other events were not even worth mentioning, can we get that shot clock thing fixed for next year. Man that was annoying and it made Katie stop watching and crack open this week’s Coast. Yep that is a yawner.

The highlight of the night had to be the much hyped race between Charles Barkley and long time NBA ref, Dick Bavetta. I never thought Chuck could do it but he won the race and proved a lot of people wrong.

Other than that that only news from this night was a headache from watching it.
