Next week we should tell them they will learn the Caramilk secret.
In case you happened to miss the numerous commercials, ABC had promised that “Stranger in a Strange Land” would answer three big Lost questions for viewers. So I fell into the trap of buying it even though deep down I knew it was a trap. Kind of like when you think you kill Jason but you need to go check out the body just to make sure. Then of course I got burned.
The show again did not go anywhere. Apparently the big question answered was about the meaning of Jack’s tattoo’s. Yep that is what I tune in for, to find out the meaning of some body art on the main character. That is something a real show would wrap up in about two minutes and not base an entire episode around. I am tired of living on the “Others” island and would like to get back to the gang that started the show.
I guess what burns me the most is how a show can think so little of it’s viewers. They are jerking us around, dragging out this story and making up false promotions to get you to watch. Yes this is nothing new but it is something the bottom dweller shows do for cheap hits, not a show that used to be on top and winning awards. The show itself should make you want to watch it every week, not some lies on the promo.
Just in case you are wondering, next week’s show is being promoted as one you can’t miss. Sure I will believe that one when I see it.
Please check out my next post, it will change your life forever.
