This Dwayne Wade injury suddenly makes things very interesting in the eastern conference. Since I am of the belief that you have to take a few lumps in the NBA before you win, the smart money is on Dallas, maybe Phoenix in the west.

However, in the east, somebody has to get to the finals - where anything can happen - and some teams (Cleveland, Orlando…?) maybe be thinking that if Miami falters and the seeds align themselves just right, they can punch their ticket to the finals and thus obtain the necessary experience needed to one day win.

Of course the monster Pistons still loom.
