Well it is the end of the week for most so I figure most of you have already shut er down for the day so why not read blogs. Nothing going on today in Halifax, just going through the motions of a tranny day. I am working tonight and tomorrow night and then I get five days off! I am looking forward to that mostly because March Madness begins.

The selection show is on Sunday and the games start next Thursday. The two best days of the year when there is basketball on for 12-13 hours for two days straight. Thursday I get to sit back and enjoy the action on my own couch and then on Friday I will be at work where I should be able to see four games at the same time.

The weather has gone back to being very, very cold today. There was some hope but now we have gone back into the deep chill.

Don’t know if you read but Halifax pulled out of the bidding for the 2014 Commonwealth games. Dumb move I think. Everyone is thinking of all the negatives but it would of fixed up roads and added new buildings to a growing city. The mayor decided it all on his own and I would like to thank him for keeping us in the dark ages of becoming a major city in Canada.

Gas went up to $1.10, glad we filled up last weekend. Did I mention I can’t wait for the warm weather?? I was daydreaming about a drive back to Corunna. Yes it would take 20 hours but I think it would be fun. Mum, better get the house fixed up, I may break my three plus year streak of visiting. Unless you want to come here again?

I will have all my NCAA ball picks for you on Sunday along with the many brackets I will have to fill out.
