Need help with your brackets?

Every year it is the same thing. Three days of “who are you picking”, “fill out your brackets yet?” or “I need help”.
Not to worry there is a great amount of info out there for you to use and of course we all know that the uminformed always does well in a pool like this.
Having no bias towards a school or not knowing how the season has gone can give you an edge because you can just pick a game. There are always upsets and on any given day, anyone can beat anyone. In all the years I have seen everything happen execpt a No. 1 team losing to a No. 16 seed. This could be the year but I highly doubt that will happen. A No. 2 losing, I bet there will be one or at least one who almost loses.
A rule I try to go buy is making my picks and no changing them. That gut instinct is the way to go and usually if you change something you will no doubt be doing the whole, man I shoud of kept that pick, some time in the tourney.
Most pools are about upsets, you get more points per round if you pick a top team to lose. So sprinkle some shockers in your bracket. If you go the safe route and just pick favourites, you may go far and place top 10 but I doubt you will win.
Other things to keep in mind when picking. Never has all four No. 1 seeds made it to the Final Four so don’t bank on that.
The Big Ten teams have been very weak in the past few years, so you can either think that will continue or reverse the odds and think they will all do good. I mean I would ride Ohio State all the way but Wisconsin? No way, they can’t score.
Teams I am putting my money on are Texas, Georgetown, Virginia Tech, Florida and Gonzaga. No to be my final teams but to do some damage a long the way and take out some top teams and several players in the pools. Thats what it is all about, picking against the consensus in your group of players in the pool.
If everyone has Florida and you have Texas and Texas wins, you sky rocket to the top of the ranks.
So with that all being said, the best experts and the people who have never seen a game, all have as good a chance to win. That is the beauty of this pool. You can just pick, you don’t need any background knowledge and you don’t need to crunch numbers. You just need to pick with your heart and have some fun. Two years ago I got my girlfriend to join who knew little about the college game and she killed me.
Print out a bracket, toss in some cash and I promise you that you will have a lot of fun even if you have never watched a game. When you are standing at the water cooler and everyone is talking about the major upset, you will wish you did.
