I posted some time ago about March 24th being a day to shut down your computer. Well that time has come.

What would happen if you shut down your computer for just one day? Shutdown Day asks you, and everyone else, to do just that. Almost 10,000 people have already pledged to shun their PCs and internet connections on March 24th, 2007. The video below, created by the Shutdown Day project, gives you a few examples of alternative uses for your laptop (warning, don’t try any of these destructive activities with your actual day-to-day laptop).

So since it is Saturday and I have the day off I am going to go for it! I do not think I can do it but I am going to try. So how long do you think I can make it without firing up the PC?? It will start at midnight so the first 8-9 hours will be easy. Then it gets interesting.

So there won’t be any blog posts until Sunday or until I cave.

I think I should be able to make it until noon before a rash starts developing. Man talk about a test of will power. What is next, a day without tea??
