Well it has been a while since I did some catching up on the Kline Stree happs so here is your Sunday recap. You should be able to move on with your life once you read this and feel comfortable that you know all that is going on.

Friday

  • Finally got around to getting my taxes done, not much of a refund but at least I did not have to pay.
  • There was another accident up the street at that stupid merge of Chebucto and North Street. There is at least one a month that I see and I am sure there are more. I could here the smack from the house. Of course I had to take some pics once they pulled over onto our street.

  • Cooked up tacos and rice for dinner. We tried out the new stand and stuff shells (they are flat on the bottom). Yes we fell for the gimmick and in the end I think we both prefer the standard ones. They won’t stand on your plate but they are way easier to eat.
  • Katie drove us down to the video store and we picked up a movie. Her parking is getting better.
  • We got Running With Scissors staring Annette Benning and Alec Baldwin. It was filed in the comedy section and was anything but. It was like it was trying to be the Royal Tennembaums without Wes Anderson writing it. Not a good movie in the end.
  • Despite not being on TV I followed the Raps game and they won a crazy, overtime game in Washington. Huge win towards their playoff run. If the season would end today they would play the Wizards in the first round and I would be very happy about that. If you did not see Mo Pete’s wild buzzer beater here it is.

  •  Called it a night and had a very good sleep

Saturday

  •  Got up early and watched some Sleeper Cell, walked Bosco and started making some breakfast. Katie got up and we ate and got the day going.
  • Went out to Bayers Lake mainly to get out of the house, go for a drive and do some window shopping. We went to Home Sense and I picked up some smelly candles and Katie looked at stuff to organize her desk area.
  • Katie got a hot chocolate at Starbucks and we were off to Future Shop and Walmart. The parking lot was nuts and it always blows my mind at how out of it people are who walk around in parking lots.
  • Looked at cameras at F-shop and got to handle and see the one I am thinking about getting. At Walmart we looked at various things but did not end up buying. Home for a few hours of relaxing.
  • We went out for dinner to celebrate Katie getting her driver’s license this week. We went to Deco on Spring Garden Road and it was very good. I had the Chicken breast supreme and potatoes. It was a chicken breast stuffed with sausage, how amazing is that! Katie had a salad and the  grilled Bay of Fundy scallops. For dessert I had cheesecake covered in raspberries and Katie had some brown butter apple cake. The place looked very cool and I would go back there again for sure. Oh Katie stole the waiters pen because it was very nice. Shame, shame.

  • We then went home to catch the rest of the Final Four action. In the end I would better describe it as Final snore action but I still watched. When we got in Ohio State was just finishing off Georgetown and then Florida killed UCLA. Not very exciting or dramatic so lets hope Monday night’s game is good. My pools are officially horrible and over.
  • Called it a night, slept and now here I am.

Sunday

  • Not alot planned for today. Cooking some Indian food in the crock pot thanks to a recipe Kevin passed along. Cut up chicken, potatoes and Madras sauce all tossed in and cooked for the afternoon. We will add some rice and naan bread later and I am very excited for this meal.
  • Raps are on today
  • Mostly relaxing I would think
  • The Juno’s are on tonight, everyone should wish for Jets Overhead to win best new group.
