Now I have a lot of faith in this year’s version of the Toronto Raptors but a there is always room for help. I would like to offer the thought of what it would be like if Jesus as given a 10-day contract to show off his skills. How would it affect the team? Would wins be a lock with the almighty power shooting threes from the heavens?

Here is a list of ways Jesus could influence the Raptors (yes I know I am going to hell)

  • The powers of knowing when someone will commit a foul could be handy
  • Warmup suits would become more colourful
  • Jesus I hear has some serious “hang time” okay that was even bad for me
  • As mention, jumpers would rain from the heavens
  • The hardwood floors could not be in better hands
  • Players from other teams would be a little weary off dunking on Jesus
  • Many claim the basketball is a religion, well now they would have to really step up
  • Would this make Bryan Colangelo God? Well he certainly is in the T-dot these days
  • If the Raptors ever play the Nets, Vince Carter is in a lot of trouble
  • Communion at half time of Sunday afternoon games
  • Raptors dance pack dress a little more biblical
  • Chuck Swirsky would have a new list of catch phrases, Oh Jesus what a shot! etc etc
  • Fans praying will actually get their answer
  • The Raptors will win the NBA Championship, hallelujah
