First of all I want to say sorry Sam. I admit to being part of the mob of fans that wanted you gone early in the season. I doubted your methods and your X’s and O’s but you pulled it all together and won a well deserved Coach of the Year.

I have followed the Raps since day one and this year has been a ride like no other. Yah the Vince teams were good too but this group is special beyond the wins and losses. They are fun to watch and easy to like and it all starts with Sam. If you still don’t like Mitchell you must not of listened to him or watched him grow as a coach.

How can you go against what Chuck likes anyways. Barkley gave Sam some great praise tonight and referred to all those writers who voted him as the worst coach last year as “Jackasses”.

The win tonight was sweet and now this series is on! I can’t wait til Friday night and I can only hope the Raps continue to get better. Bosh, T.J. and AP are rolling so now we just need the bench to return to form.

I hope BC gives Sam the contract extension he has earned and this team can become one of the NBA’s powers.
