Okay so I am all ready for tonight’s game and in my head it is already over but my heart still beats life for the Raps. It is not so much that I will be sad that tonight could be the end of the playoff run. What makes me sad is it will be the end of an amazing season for Toronto. A rags to riches season that I enjoyed more than any season that I can remember. I like this team, I like the players and everything about it. The hard part is you never know what will happen in the offseason.

Sam could be gone? Players could be dealt. Mo Pete will most likely be out the door. In pro sports you can’t bank on the team being the same next season. You never know what is in store so when you have the chance you have to grab it.

I truly hope the Raps can win tonight and take it to a Game 7 that I can’t even imagine being able to sit down for. My head says the Nets win tonight and Raptors fans will be sad and down for days.

Just remember that nobody this time last year thought we would be watching a playoff series. The team did amazing things this year and let us not forget that. Sure it was bad luck to match up with Vince. But when it is all over and even looking into the future, Vince is still a giant douche bag.

The Nets are on the elevator down and the raps are on the way up. All great teams have growing pains and move up each year. That is how it goes.

The Raps made this season so enjoyable that no matter what happens tonight I am at peace with the team and can live with the letdown.

Thanks guys, if it is over tonight, I will still be proud to be a Raptors fan. If it is Game 7 Sunday, destroy those SOB’s from Jersey and send Carter home in a body bag. Either way……I will be watching.
