Well what can I say, that was quite the game last night. In the end it did not end well but I never even thought it would get to that point. For the rest of the summer Raptors fans will be living the woulda, coulda, shoulda’s in their head and dreaming about that pass getting over RJ’s head.

Yah it sucked, yah I personally think T.J. should of been on the floor but whatever, it is over and the summer can set in. I keep reminding myself that the team did so much this year and it is unfair to feel down on them. That will pass in a few days and the excitement for next year will set in. BC will improve the team even more and if that is what can happen in one year under his power, just think about two years.

The core is young, Sam hopefully is back and if BC can add some kind of tough junk yard dog (not JYD of the ford commercials) this team should be a contender in the East.

I am not going to go on and on about this I just want to let it go and let the summer begin. It was a great ride and like I have said, I enjoyed watching this team grow more than I can remember in all my years of watching ball.

I will now sit back and watch the remainder of the playoffs as a fan of the game. I would like to see Detroit, Phoenix and now Golden State do well. I will enjoy watching better television coverage not that Chuck and Leo don’t do a decent job but I want to see how the big boys cover the games now and enjoy Ernie, Charles and Kenny.

Even the blog will take on a new look for the summer since there is not that much to write about a team that is done for the year. Raptors fans see you all in October when the season will be the most exciting ever.

Here are my highlights of the season in no particular order:

  • Even though we lost that game against the Mavs at the ACC.
  • Bosh putting in 41 against the Magic.
  • Mo Pete’s insane shot against Washington.
  • T.J.’s game winner down in Clipper land.
  • Watching Bargnani grow into what could be greatness.
  • Impressed by how this team acts, no DRAMA.
  • Bosh hitting that 3 quarter court shot and the look on his face.
  • The fact that I was able to see almost every game.
  • Even in defeat last night, they showed guts, took the punches and almost won it.

Thanks to the Raptors, they made this season fun to watch.
