I was reading something about casting news for an upcoming adaptation of Flash Gordan and it jarred my memory about a TV show that I really used to like.

It was called The Flash and it aired in the early 90’s.

The Flash was a live action CBS television series from 1990-1991 that starred John Wesley Shipp as the superhero, The Flash, and co-starred Amanda Pays. The series was created by the writing team of Danny Bilson and Paul De Meo and composer Danny Elfman wrote the series’ title theme

I remember my friend Kevin and I watched this show religiously and used to really enjoy the chick on the show. I also seem to remember we had a lot of inside jokes about saying Barry or something but maybe Kev can remember that one.

It was too bad it was only on for one season but it was a good run. Maybe I can find it to download and enjoy again.

Long live The Flash.
