Since moving to Halifax at the end of 2005 life has been good. The East coast pace is just what I like and I certainly can’t complain about my choice to leave the big city but every now and then I miss it. I especially miss my old neighbourhood, High Park. I came across this clip on youtube today that really got me missing the seven years I lived in Toronto. You will most likely laugh at the simplicity of the clip but it was something I saw everyday at least once. So sit back and take a journey back to days of yore.
I present the exciting trip to my subway station riding the TTC. I would get off the Dundas Street car and hop on the subway. Half the time I lived there I would go to High Park station (the last stop on the clip) but for the last few years I only went one stop and got off at Keele. Ah the memories.
If you would like to ride the rails all over Toronto please check out this page where someone was nice enough to link youtube clips of riding the GO Train in Toronto. I can’t believe I never thought of that!
