Spurs vs. Pistons = zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Ok, can we please get the conference finals over with?

We all know that Detroit and San Antonio are going to cruise through the conference finals and into the NBA Finals this season. And I, for one, will not be watching either series.

A long-time Pistons hater, and an even longer Spurs hater, I J-Bru, may not see an NBA game on TV until November of this year (providing there isn’t an upset)!

As a lifelong basketball fan, I can appreciate the Spurs’ boring-ass style, as well as the Pistons’, well, boring-ass style. However, I think the rest of May will be spent watching the 5 th season of ‘The Shield’ on DVD. See, I am going on tour for 2 months and the last thing I need to get ready for that is to have my brain sucked into watching five, six or seven 86-81 Spurs/Pistons tilts.

I truly thought this would be the Suns or the Mavs year, finally a team that is fun to watch in the finals. But NOPE, the Warriors destroyed the Mavs chances (though I did love watching that gang of misfits beat the crap out of Dallas) and the Suns suspensions proved too costly for Nash and the boys. Speaking of that;

Hey Steve Nash, I have a request, next year how about we shoot a little bit when our season is on the line huh? As a point guard myself, I love to watch your passing ability, but seriously dude, shoot the freaking ball.

OK, enough ranting. I probably will watch but I won’t be happy about it…..
