Last night we watched Over the Hedge. I thought it was above average and had quite a few laughs. As usual with the animated movies there are a lot of sublte jokes that kids won’t get and that makes it worth seeing.

Highlights - Steve Carell as Hammy, Eugene Levy and Catherine O’ Hara as Lou and Penny and William Shatner Ozzie.

Not so good - Did not like Avril Lavigne as Heather.

In case you have not heard of the movie -  A scheming raccoon fools a mismatched family of forest creatures into helping him repay a debt of food, by invading the new suburban sprawl that popped up while they were hibernating…and learns a lesson about family himself.
