Everyone has their Internet routine. When they sit at the computer they go through the same sites and check the same things each day before exploring off to new things. When I first sit down each morning I do my usual scan of sites and usually that is where I find my ideas for a blog post.

Here is my routine of sites I check before I get to the day.

  • Gmail of course, can’t go to long without checking my email.
  • Cuzoogle dashboard to check out my stats. I am hooked on doing this.
  • Same thing for The Chocolate Dog Blog.
  • Facebook to see if there is anything new on there. Usually a message or a poke from someone.
  • My work Intranet to see what is going on at Covers.
  • TV squad to see what is going on in the world of television ( a great source of my blogging).
  • Various other blogs to see if there is new stuff. Beer and News, Mattgunn, Need4sheed.
  • Chronicle Herald for the daily dose of Halifax.
  • Download squad for all the new and cool apps for your computer.
  • Cbc.ca for other news (good site for dog news for the CDB)

From here it is a rinse and repeat with my email, facebook and blogs for the day.
