It is another wet and dark day in Halifax despite the wise weatherfolk once again saying it was going to be sunny today. Someone should look into this don’t you think? Anyways after a record setting day on the site (508 views) here is what is going on today.

Is Tiger on an all spinach diet?

Did anyone watch the U.S. Open yesterday? Did anyone else sit and stare with their jaw wide open at the size of Tiger’s arms?? I know he is a finely tuned athlete but I have never seen his arms look so ripped. He must be pumping some serious iron or eating a lot of spinach because he was looking like Barry Bonds from the 90’s. Oh great I am going to hell for saying that. By the way, Tiger was hitting it 350+ yesterday.

MMVA’s were the usual pile of poo

Like a car wreck involving Paris Hilton I was unable to look away last night when the Much Music Video Awards aired. I don’t know if it was the horrible hosting, music or just getting to see Toronto but Katie and I could not find anything better to watch. How sad is that in a universe of 4 trillion channels. I would list off the highlights but there were none. Does anyone else find Avril really, really annoying?? Oh and for the rest of the world looking in, we have better music than Nickelback I promise you. To see a full list of the winners you can go here.

Hali-facts

The war of words are on again over the way the city treats the people of the north and the south. There was an incident on Saturday that did not get the media attention that the protest downtown on Friday did.

On the other end of Halifax, witnesses say there is no police record of an attack that took place at the corner of West and Agricola streets Saturday afternoon.

Staff and patrons at One World Cafe were shocked to see the assault on a young man, a regular customer at the cafe. A man followed the 20-year-old into the coffee shop, lifted him by the throat and punched him in the head several times. He then threw him into a window facing Agricola, which shattered under the force.

Bosco may get cabin fever

Both Katie and I are working a long day today so Bosco will have to find a way to entertain himself today. No walks til much later and no attention either. I am sure it will be a long day of naps and sighs. Don’t forget to check out The Chocolate Dog Blog.

Site News

As I mentioned things are really picking up at Cuzoogle. The page views have been over 400 almost everyday this week and I have some new ideas rolling out. The blog roll idea yesterday seemed to go over well and I just wanted to thank all the feedback I got from that. It is amazing how things get better the more you visit other sites and leave comments. I am thinking about taking all my Raptors stuff to a new site for the fall as well. I don’t know if I have the time to keep three blogs going but I am sure going to try.
