Maybe you have not swung by the cbc’s revamped website but the early returns are not that good. I mean those early returns consisit of two people (Katie and me) but we both are not fans so far. Katie just wants to find the news and does not give a shit about giant pictures of what is on TV tonight. Here here I say.

Kobe where are you going?

Is anyone else getting tired of listening to the sports world talk about where and when Kobe Bryant will leave the Lakers? I would be shocked (SHOCKED) if he is elsewhere next season. The Lakers are not going to let him go and win a title somewhere else. Especially after Shaq did the same thing a few years ago although he did not ask for a trade. There is no way they can get equal value or even a star to put bums in the seat. You think the glam people are coming to see some cast of nobodies? They can go to a Clippers game if they want to do that. My prediction is Kobe is staying and the Lakers will still be good enough to make the playoffs but sucky enough to go nowhere.

Icky Thumpin Tuesday

The White Stripes new CD drops today in stores and it is called Icky Thump. I have been listening to it for just over a week now and it is so good. The guitar riffs make me like music again. I mean I have always liked music (duh) but I guess there has been nothing new lately that has made me crank it in the car. Each song is different but the same if you know what I mean. I just love when Jack goes crazy on the strings. Can you believe they are playing in Glace Bay!

Yankee girlfriends

I was looking at this site called Yankee Girl Versus Guy where the writer is a huge fan of the pin stripes. He compares previous seasons with a type of girl you may of dated. At the very least he has some hot pictures.

Girlfriend the remix? For real?

Thanks to A Hot Mess for this one. There is a remix of Avril Lavigne’s Girlfriend out there and she does it with Lil Mama. I have not listened to it yet due to no speakers at work but I can only imagine it. Check it out if you are as curious as I am.
