Good morning  everyone,, it is Wednesday, the sun is shining and it is my last day of work for the week. I think that calls for a party. Onto the happs.

They are discussing this quote on the TV today from the Spurs Robert Horry

“No disrespect to the guys back in the 80’s and the 70’s, but the guys now are so much better than those guys,” Horry said. “I don’t care what they say. If you look at old films, guys only went right. They turned and kept it in their right hand. Look at the things LeBron (James) can do, Tim (Duncan) can do, Tony (Parker) can do, Manu (Ginobili) can do. Little (Daniel) Gibson over there. There’s no way you can compare those guys. We watched what they did and expanded on that.” 

I just have to laugh at this. The Lakers and Celtics teams would of rolled the Spurs and for that matter I don’t think they could of beaten the Pistons of the late 80’s either. Horry take your seven rings and shove em up your ass.

Chuck is going on a Rant

We were watching The Hour last night and Chuck Palahniuk was on promoting his new book called Rant. I have read most of his books and I liked his earlier stuff better. Fight Club and Survivor were amazing. I will keep reading his books though because they are just so out there it always opens my eyes to weird and disgusting things. Check out his interview, he is one interesting (creepy) dude.

Katie is in the SJ

For those keeping score, Katie left for Saint John this morning.  I know, I know it is usually a Monday to Wednesday thing but this week it is shaken up. She is one busy bee these days so I hope she can hold it together. Anyways that means the Farm and I are on our own. I think tonight will be a good night to watch 300 and eat many, many snackages.

Free Chair day

Yesterday they were tossing out a bunch of office chairs at work. I snagged one for free and it is now Katie’s giant new office chair. She looks like a CEO sitting in it, buying high and selling low.

Parents back soon?

My parents seem like they have been camping forever. I hope they find their way out of the woods soon.
