We spent the afternoon in the backyard and Katie finally got to try out the hammock I bought for her for her birthday. It sure looks relaxing doesn’t it? I got to try it out briefly and I have to say it is the way to spend the summer. We both soaked up the sun either in the hammock or at the table. I did some reading and Katie caught up with her parents on the phone. A few beers, some chips and a few rounds of cards and it was time to get out of the sun. I feel pretty relaxed and ready for dinner now. Thank you Halifax for finally giving us an afternoon we could spend getting some sun. We can only hope for a lot more afternoons like this very soon. Not bad for having no trees to tie a hammock to I would have to say. Thank you Canadian Tire, you never let us down.

It is almost time for a nacho dinner I better get going and stop spending time posting. Katie is off to Saint John tonight so there is an airport drive ahead very soon. Talk to everyone tomorrow I am sure.
