In case anyone did not get the riddle I left for my reason for not blogging yesterday, it was my birthday. I was lucky enough to have the day off work so I took advantage and did a lot of “me” things. During the day I went to see a movie and just relaxed at home.

I went to see Live Free or Die Hard and I have to say it was a lot of fun and the perfect summer flick. The previews had me questioning if it was even a Die Hard movie or just an action movie with Bruce Willis in it. Well I can safely say it lived up to being a Die Hard in every way. Classic jokes, a lot of shit blowing up and a pretty interesting plot. Okay you have to toss out all the “yah that could not happen” thoughts from your head but isn’t that what summer is about?

There was some new action sequences that even Michael Bay has not done yet and I enjoyed Bullock from Deadwood as the bad guy. The “ninja” chick and Kevin Smith as the Warlock were good to.

After that I came home and relaxed for a bit before heading downtown to meet Katie for dinner. She took me out for a feast of wings and beer at Maxwell’s Plum. I ended up having 2lbs of hot wings, a pitcher of brew and half of Katie’s burger platter. What a great meal!

Came home a little drunk and watched the boring ass NBA Draft, broken up with phone calls from Katie’s parents and my parents.

Great birthday, thanks to all the peeps who wished me a happy birthday and for the gifts as well.

33 ain’t so bad afterall.
