No there is not some giant rock festival coming to Halifax (would be nice) but instead there is a different Rock invasion happening today. Katie and her parents will be pulling into town tonight around 9pm and are here for a few days for a visit. Should be a lot of fun and the weather is acting accordingly.

I know there will be a lot of posts about this and pictures to see so stay tuned for all that we get up to. We love to have visitors so we try to make the most of it when we get some.

  • Shaq helped his six kids lost the weight. I found this show hard to stop watching and found it so impressive how it turned out. I wish it got more coverage because as Whitney Houston used to say before she went crazy, Childern our our future.
  • Picked up some car product yesterday and gave the inside a good cleaning. We are coming up on the one year anniversary of the car and wanted to pimp it out. There will be a post on the coming days.
  • Basketball buzz is in the air, I can’t wait to see how the Raptors do in the all of a sudden beefed up Atlantic.
  • Canada gets screwed when it comes to holiday time, shocker.
  • Did anyone notice that the humidex was 53 Celcius in Manitoba the other day!
  • Halifax is going bike happy, maybe. Too bad they can’t reduce the hilly land.
  • I am excited to see The Bourne movie on Friday.
  • One joint equals five smokes, so does that mean two joints is 10 smokes?
  • George Bush has a new BFF.
  • It must be a blow to the ego to fail at killing yourself.
