Good morning everyone I am back from a short break of hitting the blog party. We have had guests staying with us and it has been wall to wall adventure with little time to sit back and write. Sure I could of found the time if I really wanted to but it is always nice to take a break.

Well that break is over and it is time to amp back up into blogmania. I figure the best thing to do off the top is catch you all up on the last few days since there was a lot of noteworthy stuff going on.

Wednesday

  • Preparation for the arrival of guests was in full affect. I had to tidy up the house, throw the guest room together and get some groceries. As you may know from reading, Katie’s parents are here for just under a week and staying with us. If you would like to read about their holiday so far, head over to their blog.
  • Once everything was how I liked it, I relaxed by watching The Astronaut Farmer staring good ol’ Billy Bob doing his thing. The movie was not anything exciting but I liked it. It made me want to live on a 300 achre ranch somewhere.
  • The Rock riders arrived around 8pm and we enjoyed some pizza and relaxing in the backyard.
  • Once the sun went down we all moved inside and watched So You Think You Can Dance……..yah I blame Katie for this. At least I got some enjoyment out of it.

Thursday

  • After a restless sleep I was up bright and early and ready for a fun day. The sun was shining, Katie was off to work and it was time to be the host with the most. After the coffee and breakfast part of the morning, I took Jamie and Casey out to Long Lake so they could see the Boss man do his swimming thing and we could get some walking in.
  • We drove home and I helped Jamie set up his new blog and Casey read in the backyard under the tree.
  • After realizing it was well after lunch time we went downtown for some grub.
  • Once home it was time to hit the backyard again with some beer.
  • I cooked up Cuzzydillas for dinner and loaded up the brewtender. Dinner was a hit so all was well on Kline.
  • We ende the night with the results show from So You Think You Can Dance……see yah.

Highlights

  • The Nachos I had at Soho were mega cheesey!
  • Getting to use the brewtender.
  • Rescue Me was pretty good this week.
  • Getting more pics of people breaking the parking rules, post to come later.
  • Having a lot of fun with JPR and Casey.

Lowlights

  • Our toilet stopped working and we had to use the one on the first floor, in the gross cat litter room.
  • Not taking enough pictures.
  • Katie was working and missed out on some of the fun.
  • Kettle was shorting the power in the kitchen.
