Back to the week that was, I believe I left off at Thursday night.

Friday

  • Up early once again, gorgeous day in Halifax, so might as well be doing stuff.
  • Took Katie’s parents over to Dingle Park for a walk and to let Bosco stretch his legs. We all went up the Tower and Bosco did just fine on the stairs. Kind of breezy, kind of dirty up there.
  • Had a quick shower and Jamie and I headed downtown to catch a flick.
  • First we hit up Bud the Spud for some fries and then we went into the AC and watched The Bourne Ultimatum. Wicked movie, fast paced and great action. I was totally pleased and got all I wanted from it. Side note….one trailer, that is lame.
  • After getting home it was chill time in the backyard. I had a beer and played scrabble with Casey. She kicked my ass with her word power.
  • Katie got home and we kicked it a little longer in the backyard before getting all dolled up for dinner.
  • We went to the Himachi Steakhouse down on the waterfront and had a wonderful feast of great food and great fun. I had some steak that was 100% Alberta beef. Very good!!
  • After that we walked the waterfront for some ice cream and later on watched some of The Big Lebowski that was playing on a large outdoor screen for free down by Pier 21. Dude!
  • Once home it was digest and sleep time. Good day, good day.

Saturday

  • I had to work all day but from the sounds of it the Rock gang had a fun day.
  • When I got home there was left over Indian dinner for me! Awesome.
  • Andrew of Beer and News fame was over for a visit. We talked shop etc. before he had to go to other ventures.
  • Watched some of the Rocky Marathon on SPIKE, ate some pie and called it a night.
