Last week when we had guests staying with us our toilet went on the fritz. It was the first time since we had been living here that it acted up and it caused a really pain.

Luckily we have two so we were not that bad off for a day or so. After having a plumber look at it and unclog it etc. it was determined that really we needed a new one.

So after some phone calls it was worked out a new toilet would be coming soon.

Well that day is here and before the old one is ripped out of it’s spot I wanted to give it a proper send off. We spend a lot of time with our toilets and I wanted to make sure I took a step back and appreciated all the work the old girl gave us.

So here is my tribute to a real hero in our house over the last few years. Farewell old friend, you will not be forgotten.
