Well it is getting close, tomorrow we leave for Calgary and today is the day to tie up all the loose ends and get ready. There is not a lot to do really but there is a bit of a list on the go so far. You know things like hair cuts, budgeting, shipping the pets off, watering plants and packing. All that fun stuff before we head out bright and early tomorrow.

We are leaving at 3am (Calgary time) so it will be a long day for us but whatever, we are on vacation and was we land it will be wall to wall people and fun. So before I head off to take care of the list I thought I would share with you where we are off to.

The purpose of the trip is for a wedding in Golden, British Columbia. We will land in Calgary tomorrow, at some point drive to Banff and from there on to Golden.

We are staying at the Kicking Horse Resort where the wedding will be performed and then heading home. The wedding is on Friday so we have two whole days of relaxing and hanging out at the hotel and checking out all the attractions.

I can’t wait to get there and breath in some of that thin air. Finally I can ask everyone else that annoying question “How is the weather up there?”
