I don’t know how many of you have heard about this one but over at the European Championships new Grizzlies center Darko Milicic went off his rocker after a loss by Serbia.

Now I will warn the kids out there that speak Darko that there are some pretty bad words in this clip so mute it.

Here is a fairly accurate translation of what you just heard. He in fact was not telling the ref to have a nice day and to enjoy the new TV fall lineup.

Griz general manager Chris Wallace and head coach Marc Iavaroni spoke with Milicic via telephone Thursday, and admonished the 7-footer about his threatening and distasteful interview following a loss to Greece.

“We’re very displeased with Darko’s actions and comments,” Wallace said. “It’s an emotional situation playing in national competition, particularly with Serbia, because they take pride in having good teams. But Darko has to be in control of his emotions.”

Darko what were you thinking dude? You thought going up against the best NBA trasktalkers was hard enough before. Now that they see you have some game in that department they are going to step it up even more. Whatever happened to that quiet young man that sat at the end of the Pistons bench for all those years. I guess we can blame Larry Brown for this one as well.
